A Prayer for Humility
Lord Jesus, even though You were equal in power You humbled yourself and became a servant to the Father and did not consider yourself His equal. Obediently and lovingly, You came to earth as a humble baby and grew up humbly. We are not ashamed of Your humility and pray to be humble also. We have no right to be haughty or prideful. We are sinful and in need of grace, but humility will bless our life; it is a product of the humble Holy Spirit and glorifies the Father. Amen
